Cookies and storage
Last updated October 18, 2026
Reloop saves some information on your device so you can stay signed in and keep your settings. The website uses your browser’s storage; the Mac app uses storage inside its app window. This page explains both.
Cookies and tracking
Reloop does not use advertising or analytics trackers or set advertising or analytics cookies. The app uses local storage for the features listed below. Local storage stays on your device; unlike a cookie, its contents are not automatically attached to every web request. Reloop reads your saved sign-in session when making authenticated requests to its back end.
What is saved on your device
| Saved information | Purpose and duration |
|---|---|
| Sign-in session, including access and refresh tokens | Keeps you signed in. Saved until you sign out, clear app/browser storage, or the sign-in provider invalidates the session. Tokens can expire and be refreshed while the session is valid. |
| Appearance preference | Remembers light, dark or system appearance until you change it or clear storage. |
| Intro and reduced-animation preferences | Remembers whether to play the opening animation and reduce animation until changed or cleared. |
| 90-day challenge goal, start date, check-ins and any saved notes | Keeps your challenge on this device. It is not synced to your cloud account and remains after sign-out until you reset the challenge or clear device storage. |
| Service connection preference, if changed | Remembers a custom cloud-function setting used by the app until cleared. |
Temporary information
While you use the app, Reloop holds loaded page data and assistant chat history in memory. Signing out clears the saved sign-in session, cached account data and assistant chat history. Appearance preferences and challenge progress remain on the device.
The local Mac assistant
The Mac assistant also uses downloaded AI model files and local runtime files or logs. These are separate from the app window’s local storage. Clearing saved app data does not remove downloaded models or runtime files. Downloading a model requires contacting its distribution service; chatting with the local model processes your question on your Mac.
How to clear or change it
- Change appearance and animation choices in Profile → Preferences.
- Reset the 90-day tracker from its Challenge settings.
- Sign out to remove the saved sign-in session from this app window or browser.
- In the Mac app, open Profile → Privacy & legal → Clear saved app data on this device. This also clears challenge progress and preferences and signs you out.
- On the website, use your browser’s site-data settings to clear Reloop’s saved data. Blocking storage may prevent sign-in or prevent settings and challenge progress from being saved.
Cloud data is separate
Clearing local storage or uninstalling the app does not delete videos, drafts, your account or Instagram connection data stored in the cloud. To request that deletion, use Profile → Delete my account and data or email jaxonnz101@gmail.com. Clearing Reloop data does not remove posts already published on Instagram.
Other services
Instagram’s sign-in pages may use their own cookies under Meta’s policies. Supabase and the website host process technical requests needed to deliver their services. Those requests are separate from the preferences and challenge records described here.
Changes and contact

This information website
The Reloop information pages do not use analytics, advertising trackers or browser storage of their own. The hosting service may process technical request information. If the page is shared as a private preview, the hosting platform may require its own sign-in.
